One person was injured Sunday morning in a car-semi accident on McGalliard Road just east of Delaware County Road 1000-W.
The accident was reported to emergency dispatchers at 5:53 a.m.
Jeff Stanley, chief deputy of the Delaware County Sheriff’s Department, said an occupant of the car was transported by ambulance to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, and then to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, for treatment of what was believed to be a broken jaw.
The victim’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
In addition to the sheriff’s department, agencies at the scene included Daleville police, Yorktown and Gaston firefighters and Delaware County EMS.
