A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on the southeast side Tuesday morning.
The motorcycle rider crashed into a car about 6:30 a.m. at East Raymond Street and South Oxford streets, said Officer Samone Burris, a spokesperson for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. The location is just east of South Keystone Avenue.
The motorcycle was traveling east on Raymond when it struck a northbound Chrysler four-door car that was turning west, Burris said.
Medics pronounced the motorcycle rider dead at the scene.
The Chrysler’s driver cooperated with the investigation and was taken to an area medical facility for a blood test, which Burris said is standard procedure in fatal crashes.
